Water Treatment Facility

At a water treatment facility in Joplin, Missouri, Watson and Sons was awarded a competitive bid project to build a new waste tank that stands at 32 ft. tall, with a diameter of 80 ft., and holds over 1.2 million gallons of water.

The tank would serve as the largest wastewater storage unit on-site, allowing the waste from other containers to be emptied, cleaned, and properly repaired without disrupting operations. Thanks to our concrete crew’s specialization in concrete, the project was completed on schedule. Overall, the project has helped the water treatment facility expand its capacity and ability to serve the growing community.
