Images at the Cross

Images at the Cross had raised up enough funding for the construction of the 218 ft. tall, 90 ft. wide, Branson Cross. Watson and Sons had the privilege of placing its massive foundation. Today, the cross stands as the largest in the US.

The project was an exciting venture for our concrete crew. Specifications called for a 40 foot x 40 foot x 6 foot hole, and #8 rebar was used for reinforcement. A near 400 cubic yards of concrete was needed to fill the void. Handling the large-scale materials proved to be a fun challenge for the crew. Overall, the foundation placement was successful and provided a solid base for the enormous structure.
